1. What bulb does this spotlight use, and what is the max wattage?
Our low voltage landscape spotlights accept LED and halogen MR16 bulbs with a GU5.3 socket, up to 50W.
2. Would like to replace with a 5000k led bulb. Can this be done ?
The bulb can be replaced for different brightness and colors.
3. Does it include a transformer? Will any standard transformer work?
These exterior spot lights for house need wiring to a low voltage transformer, sold separately, and are not plug-and-play. Compatible with most transformers.
4. What is your warranty policy?
These low voltage landscape lighting spotlights come with a lifetime warranty. We provide free replacements for any fixture malfunctions.
5. How many lumens does the bulb have? How can I set up the bulb?
These outdoor uplights for trees use 5W 450lm 2700K bulbs. Rotate the lampshade counterclockwise slightly until it stops, and then pull it out.
6. What size transformer should I choose for 8 lights?
We recommend that the total wattage of the connected lights shall not exceed 80% of the transformer's power rating. For example, if connecting 8 spotlights, each with a 5W bulb, the transformer's power should be above 50W.
7. Are these dimmable?
With dimmable bulbs, you can adjust the brightness of the LED outdoor spotlights. However, please note that the bulbs we offer are non-dimmable.
8. Are the threads of the fixture 1/2" npt?
Yes. And these lights be screwed into an outside wall mount bracket with 1/2 inch threads.
