I installed these in the stairwell on my guest house. Very easy to install. They have a really nice range of brightness when using with dimmer. The light is very stable not like the flicker that occured on low dim level with the last two brands I tried. Quality products fast shipping. Received damaged transformer. Product was damaged prior to shipping but the box only had what looked like minor abrasions. Sturdy foam packing restored box to original shape. Entire order was very well packed. Within an hour of emailing company they replied and approved the return. Had shipping label the next day. 1. What type of bulb does this deck light use, and what is the max wattage?
Our low voltage landscape deck lights accept LED and halogen G4 bulbs, up to 50W.
2. Would like to replace with a 5000k LED bulb. Can this be done?
The bulb can be replaced for different brightness and colors to fit existing landscape lighting.
3. Are these dimmable?
With dimmable bulbs. You can adiust the brightness of the lights. However, please note that the bulbs we offer are non-dimmable.
4. Does it include a transformer and can it be used with any standard transformer?
These flood lights need wiring to a low voltage transformer(sold separately), and are not plug-and-play. Compatible with most transformers.
5. What size transformer should l choose?
We recommend that the total wattage of the connected lights shall not exceed 80% of the transformer's power rating.
6. Does it come with a plug? Are these lights for 120v systems?
No, it doesn't. The lights run on 12v and need wiring to a transformer.
7. What should l do if the light doesn't turn on?
Ensure the bulb is properly inserted. If it still doesn't work, test with a working bulb from another light. lf it lights up, the bulb is faulty; If not, the fixture may have an issue. Please reach out for assistance.
8. What are the everyday uses of different color temperatures?
Use 2700K for cozy atmospheres. Use 4000K for neutral lighting effects. Use 5000K for bright lighting.
