Gardenreet - Shielded, Anti-Glare, Outdoor Landscape Well Light, LED, IP67 Waterproof, 12v - Equally well made as this company's standard un-shielded well light, but the addition of the shield cuts glare tremendously. The trade off is having the shield above ground where it could interfere with a smooth walk path. For me, with the shield, I can use it adjacent to a walk path without blinding anyone walking by that happens to look directly at the light fixture. I'm using it to light tall planters and potted plants, so there won't be the problem of someone walking over the fixture. The fixture is professional looking and the finish is very well done.

I really like this 12v low-voltage landscape lamp. The color is a nice oil-rubbed bronze (brown); with the hood made of metal and the back casing made of plastic. Because this lamp is designed to be buried up to the hood, plastic is a good choice to avoid corrosion from moisture. In addition, there is a rubber gasket seal around the hood where the case attaches, making a water-tight seal to protect the electrical connections from the elements. The wire connectors are included and can be found inside the plastic cover. I look forward to adding this lamp to my landscape lighting array.

Solid case, well designed, light bulb and be adjusted to aim in different directions if needed, not just straight up. easy opening to change bulb, thick gasket to prevent leaks. I ordered a second after I tried the first. Customer service is excellent, they forgot to include the bulb, and rapidly shipped one when I emailed, no haggling. This brand is one of the best on the market for landscape lighting. We have multiples in our landscape and have been very pleased. This item is well constructed and very heavy duty. It has been installed and tied into our exterior lighting system for several months now and is continuing to perform splendidly. We had an electrician do the installation because we needed help with planning all the required components. Very pleased with this little well light.
