I love these. I have 5 in my garden and it looks great at night. It remembers the last setting when powered on and off (I use a WiFi smart plug to turn them on at dusk). Only downside is that I couldn��t find a programmable IR blaster that would recognize the signal from the remote. If I could, I would have installed an IR blaster near them to switch between modes every hour or so.
I used the projector light to light up the flagpole during the Christmas season.
This highly exceeded my expecations. Bought it originally for Halloween to shine on my front porch, but with all the settings we ended up using it outdoors shining on the entire front of our home for Christmas and New Years too! So easy to plug in and set up, weather proof and the remote make it so easy to switch it up! There is also a setting where it runs through every color/combination. Looks super cool underneath trees! Using indoors, it makes such a great ambiance for a dance or themed party. It was so nice to find something that was not too pricey or complicated but has great effects!

So the lights themselves are fantastic. Spirit of Halloween sells a similar product but they're a singular color AND the blue I use often sells out too fast. This brand was cheaper/equal to the Spirit lights, had better coverage, far brighter, with TONS of light pattern options and different speed settings.The drawbacks? Two in my book.1. The lights are managed via a remote control which makes things difficult if you use more than one if they aren't running on the same power source because their default settings is to cycle through the colors. This is problematic because the lights don't function on different RF frequencies therefore trying to set one sets any other active one (which again, if not tied to the same power source won't be on the same cycle). So it takes a bit of fancy problem solving to get everything set to the right pattern.2. The overall light is waterproof BUT the plug is not. The plug portion is too big to work with my weatherproof wire covers. An easy solution to fix with the large box type weatherproof protectors but still a bit of an inconvenience to need to order something else.Other than those two non-deal breaking issues, they're a great product I will use to replace other lights. If not for the challenges above, I'd rate 5 out of 5.
