Gardenreet Pro Sample Program

Overview

At Gardenreet, we understand that landscape professionals and contractors often need to evaluate lighting fixtures before committing to a larger purchase.
To support this process, we offer a Sample Credit Program, allowing Pro customers to test our products before placing a bulk order.
Under this program, Pro customers may purchase products as samples at the regular retail price. If a qualifying bulk order is placed afterward, the cost of eligible sample items may be refunded according to the rules outlined below.
This policy helps ensure a fair product evaluation process while supporting our professional customers.

Sample Purchase

Pro customers may purchase products as samples to evaluate product quality, lighting performance, size, and installation compatibility.
Sample orders are treated as standard purchases and must be paid in full at the time of ordering.
To maintain fairness and ensure availability for all Pro customers, the following limits apply:
  • A maximum of one sample unit per model is eligible for refund.
  • Pro customers may purchase multiple models as samples for evaluation.

Sample Credit Eligibility

Sample refunds are available when a qualifying bulk order is placed.
To ensure fair use of the program, the following rules apply.

One Sample Refund per Model

Each Pro customer may receive only one sample refund per product model.
If multiple sample units of the same model are purchased, only one unit will be eligible for refund.
Each model may qualify for one sample credit per customer account.

Minimum Bulk Order Requirement

To qualify for a sample refund, a Pro customer must place a bulk order of 10 units or more of the same model.
When this requirement is met:
  • The cost of one sample unit of that model will be eligible for refund.

Model-Based Refund Rule

Sample refunds apply only to the model that meets the bulk order requirement.
If multiple models were purchased as samples, only the model that meets the bulk order quantity requirement will qualify for a refund.
Sample items from other models will not be included in the refund.

Example Scenario

Step 1 – Sample Order

A Pro customer purchases the following samples:
  • Model 2401 × 1
  • Model 2404 × 1
These samples are used to evaluate product performance and installation suitability.

Step 2 – Product Evaluation

After testing the samples, the customer determines that Model 2401 is the best fit for the project.

Step 3 – Bulk Order

The customer places a bulk order:
  • Model 2401 × 10
Result:
The customer becomes eligible for a refund of one sample unit of Model 2401, since the bulk order requirement for this model has been met.
The Model 2404 sample is not refunded at this stage, because a qualifying bulk order for this model has not yet been placed.
If the customer places a future bulk order of 10 units or more of Model 2404, the 2404 sample may also become eligible for a refund according to the Sample Credit Program rules.

How to Request a Sample Refund

To request a sample refund, please follow the steps below.

Step 1

Place a sample order and evaluate the product.

Step 2

Place a qualifying bulk order.

Step 3

Submit a Sample Credit Request to our support team.
Please include the following information:
  • Sample order number
  • Bulk order number

Step 4

Our team will review the request and verify eligibility.

Step 5

Once approved, the refund will be processed.

Refund Processing

After a request has been reviewed and approved, our Pro customer service team will process the refund for the eligible sample item.
The eligible portion of the sample cost will be refunded to the original payment method used for the sample order.
Depending on your payment provider, the refund may take 3–7 business days to appear in your account.

Validity Period

Sample refund requests must be submitted within 90 days of the original sample purchase.
Bulk orders placed after this period may no longer qualify for sample refunds.

Important Notes

To ensure fair use of this program, please note the following:
  • Only one sample unit per model is eligible for refund.
  • Each Pro customer may receive only one sample refund per model.
  • A minimum bulk order of 10 units of the same model is required.
  • Sample refunds apply only to the model that meets the bulk order requirement.
  • Sample products of other models will not be included in the refund.
  • Gardenreet reserves the right to review and verify all sample credit requests.
