FAQ of Outdoor Solar Lighting
Why should I choose solar lights?
Here are a few great reasons to go solar for your outdoor lighting:
No wiring or trenching needed
- Solar lights are powered by the sun, so there’s no need to run wires across your yard or hire an electrician. Just place them where you need them.
Lower energy bills
- Since they use free solar energy, they help cut down on your electricity costs—especially for outdoor lights that run every night.
Eco-friendly
- Solar lighting reduces your carbon footprint and helps support a cleaner planet. It's a simple, everyday way to go green.
Works even during power outages
- Solar lights stay on independently of your home's power supply, so your yard won’t go dark during a blackout.
Automatic lighting
- Most models turn on at dusk and off at dawn automatically—no switch-flipping or timers needed.
Easy to install and move
- Want to rearrange your garden or add more lights later? No problem—just pick up the light and place it somewhere new.
Will solar lights charge on cloudy or rainy days?
They will still charge but at a slower rate. Expect reduced brightness and shorter runtime during extended cloudy or rainy periods—this is normal for solar-powered devices.
Do your solar lights automatically turn on and off?
Yes! Each solar light features a built-in sensor that powers the light on at dusk and off at dawn, so you don’t have to worry about manual operation.
What warranty do you offer?
We back our lights with a 2-year warranty. If any defects arise, we’ll replace the fixture free of charge within that time.
How do spotlights differ from floodlights?
Spotlights focus a narrow beam to highlight specific features like trees or statues. Floodlights spread a broad beam ideal for illuminating larger areas such as yards or driveways.
Any tips for first-time use?
Place the solar light under direct sunlight for at least 6 hours before using it. Also, keep the solar panel clean by wiping off dust every few months to maintain peak charging efficiency.
Are your solar lights waterproof?
Absolutely! All models come with IP65-rated protection and sealed cable joints to keep moisture and bugs out even in harsh weather.
When should I use different color temperatures?
For a warm, inviting glow that’s perfect for relaxing spaces, choose warm white lights. For brighter, clearer illumination suited for paths or security, go with cool white.
What if I need a longer cable?
If you need an extension cable, feel free to reach out to us—we’ll send you the purchase link.
Just keep in mind: extending the wire may slightly reduce the brightness due to voltage drop, which is normal.
